Soleil Moon Frye
Frye was only two years old when she discovered acting. She won the role of Penelope “Punky” Brewster when she was only eight years old in the sitcom Punky Brewster. When the series ended, she continued to appear in different films and attended The New School to direct her first film, Wild Horses. Soleil has now four children and shared that her journey as a mother has been incredibly fulfilling.
She loves her children and as part of her investment planning, she even opened a clothing boutique for kids called The Little Seed in Los Angeles. Frye is not just an actress; she is also a writer and owns a blog that tackles kid and women issues. To share her journey with other moms, she wrote Happy Chaos: From Punky to Parenting and My Perfectly Imperfect Adventures in Between. Sharing the difficulties of motherhood with other moms is her way of helping them embrace their roles and know that they are not alone.
