Ricki Lake

We all adored Ricki Lake during her 1988 film Hairspray. This 52-year-old actress still continues to wow us every time she’s on the red carpet, even when she’s always had insecurities about her large frame. As a kid, she was bullied because according to her, she was always the heavy eater type. During her iconic musical, she weighed 260 pounds and standing 5’3” tall. Ricki has two sons, Milo and Owen. After giving birth to her first child, she experienced a massive weight gain. She did regular exercise and diet for a while.

Her weight seems to fluctuate regularly. She was doing fine until came the day of her 40’s when she realized losing weight was harder than when she was younger. She never loses hope that one day she would find the perfect miracle worker for her. Indeed, she did. Ricki gives credit to Dancing With The Stars for it completed her weight loss program of having a delivery service containing only 1,400 calories per day and getting 8 hours of sleep at night. From size 24, she is now a size skinny.
