Wendy Williams

Wendy Williams is famously known for her nationally syndicated eponymous talk show that has been on the air since 2008. Before she dominated the small screen, however, she started as a radio DJ and host. She’s popularly known as a shock jockette back then. If there’s one thing that made Wendy most known by the public, it might be the degree of on-air spats with celebrities. The 56-year-old star even became the subject of the VH1 reality series, The Wendy Williams Experience.

Aside from hosting, Wendy also authored a number of books and appeared in different TV and movie projects. She also has her own line of businesses in the fashion, jewelry, and wig fields. With her fame, Wendy was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2009, and Asbury Park, New Jersey, renamed the street where she grew up to Wendy Williams Way.
